Affiliate Program allows for each and every owner of Internet resource (home page, blog, portal, etc.) to earn money while informing about Wall of the World. The essence of the Affiliate Program is simple – upon the registration on the project partner’s home page, the Partner receives advertising materials, posts it on his web page and receives money for people, who after clicking on the advertisement at the Partner’s home page have registered for the participation in the project.

The Wall of the World will be built in the Preili region

At the press conference on 11 July in Preili, the Wall of the World announced that the park will be built on a 82.9 hectare site in the Preili Region, Rudzatu parish, Veclaudas, Latvia.

Submission of Applications for the Wall of the World Land Tender Closed

On 8 June 2007 the submission of applications for the Wall of the World Land Tender was closed. In line with the Wall of the World progress plan, the tenders will now be examined, a field study carried out and negotiations with the land owners started.

The Wall of the World’s construction account receives its first deposit

As promised, in May the Wall of the World paid 50% of its previous month's revenues into the deposit account where the money for its construction is held. Under the agreement made with the Latvian Red Cross every month this account receives half of the previous month’s revenue. The deposit account is jointly managed by both parties and all decisions are made in writing.

Tenders are invited for the Wall of the World’s land selection

2 May 2007, a tender to select land for the site of the Wall of the World park is open to Latvian local governments, private individuals and legal entities who own appropriate land. The desired land area is 80—140 hectares.

The Wall of the World project receives exceptionally good public support

The Wall of the World reports that during the first 24 hours after opening its registration more than 1000 people have registered. This figure was initially expected after two months.  

The Wall of the World launches its bid to become the world’s 8th wonder

On 19 April 2007 a unique project is launched – the Wall of the World. This project intends to build a 47 hectare park with 272 granite walls on which will be engraved the data of 65 million people. People from all around the world can register their data for engraving by visiting www.walloftheworld.org. When each person registers they cast a vote for the Wall of the World to be the eighth wonder of the world. This way 65 million people from the 21st century will jointly create the eighth wonder of the world.

Wall of the World is...

The Wall of the World - 272 granite walls with a total length of 26km, displaying the engraved names of 65 million people or 1% of the human population.

 

We - 65 million people - will add our names to the world’s history. Together we are creating the eighth wonder of the world
