The organisation Wall of the World is a Latvian registered company founded for designing, implementing and subsequent servicing of the Wall of the World project.
The commercial society is the current legal status of the project. Project’s authors plan to change the legal status, transferring the organization into non-profit society with the society’s management model, in order to provide for the non-profit activities and belonging to the whole society.
The project is run by a number of people - the co-authors of its idea, the project partners and the subcontractors. The project team member’s CVs are published in section The Team.
Mission
Our mission is to unite the good people of the world around the idea of building a Monument to Human Unity, which would serve as a lasting evidence of our shared values, and to demonstrate that in the today’s open world of the 21st century we are afforded an unprecedented opportunity to conceive and through common effort realise good work.
We wish to demonstrate that it is within our power to influence the course of events in the world because the divine powers rest in all us together. There is no dictatorship and no sham democracy – we are the power and the power of our unity can determine things that are essential to humankind.
