The state, where the park will be built, will be determined by the project participants together with the organizers. Today the planned procedure on selecting the location is as follows:
- When the number of project participants amounts to 1 million, the voting will be launched on the state where the construction will take place. Only the registered project participants will be able to vote. In order to avoid a possibility when the more populated states will gain advantages, the coefficients on a pro rata basis will be used to correct the results.
- The voting will take place until the number of the registered participants amounts to 2 million persons. Upon the counting vote results, project organizers will search for the appropriate plot of land, choosing among the top 5 states with the highest number of votes.
The initial project plan envisaged the construction of the park in Latvia, EU Member-State. However, after improving project concept, with the main aim to approximate the project itself to the principle of equality, it was decided that the location will be chosen via project participants’ voting.
Of course, the results of the vote will largely depend on the number of project participants from the certain state. Thus, the bigger number of state inhabitants, ratably to the population, register in the project, the higher possibilities has the state to be chosen as the park location.
Follow the news and number of project participants to find out when the voting on the park location will be launched.
